My grandpa Enzo (Papi) was my best friend, biggest fan, and most steadfast supporter. Growing up in Chicago, my mom and aunts would run errands with Enzo on the weekend and would always make a stop at Nino’s for a hotdog. When they failed to convince him for a post errand treat, he would simply reply, “We’ll go to the 6117 Club for deli sandwiches!” 6117 was their house address and the club was their kitchen. This tradition continued decades later when us grandkids joined the crew. When starting my business, I wanted to honor Enzo and the sense of quality, warmth, and home that he and the 6117 Club provided us all. That is why we stamp each coaster with our logo featuring his handwriting. My goal is for our products to embody the same attributes and share them with the world.
